RobotZone/ServoCity is a robotics firm that expanded from education robotics into a retailer of servos and related products. RC plane hobbyists discovered the business and ServoCity had been developed to become the second-largest hobby aircraft eCommerce site at the time.

Below are a couple of the highlights from my time working with Brian Pettey at RobotZone LLC

I rearchitected and deployed a new eCommerce customer experience for digital customers that allowed us to increase sales while simultaneously decreasing overhead costs and calls to customer support for sales inquiries and purchase support. Online inventory was increased by over 100%.

I developed a second eCommerce site devoted to robotics that sold over 10,000 products. This project was a full-stack development project and required custom photos and product descriptions for each item.

Marketing & More

I collaborated with magazine publishers to create full-page advertisements for ServoCity and tracked the responses and conversion rates. I also served as a technical writer creating assembly instructions and sales sheets for several patent-pending products used by major television networks and NASA.
