I identified multiple areas where industry-standard EHR systems failed providers and staff and researched solutions to these failures. I developed requirements from my primary research experience in multiple hospitals, primary care offices, and specialist offices from nursing and office staff as well as attendings, residents, and medical students.

Digital Producer

2019 - Present

As a Digital Producer, I collaborated in developing the strategic vision, execution, and optimization of our digital customer journey. This involved the relaunch of our digital brand and the UX/UI design, design system, development of an enhanced eCommerce customer experience to support our latest location-based virtual reality products. I created documentation and requirements to transition strategic goals into achievable milestones while managing a cross-functional team to release incremental improvements and maintenance of TheVOID.com. I also supported the Operations group in several initiatives.

I developed the product concept for a digital-only news agency in Cowley County with a group from local print media. The branding and site design were based on conversations with my partners. We realized the site could be commoditized and packaged for reuse and the site has since grown to encompass two neighboring counties.

My position with Hillside Medical Group progressed over time; starting from consulting on minor projects to full-time employment to a hiatus for medical training and a return as a scribe and defacto Office Manager/Lab Manager. The consistent factor over this period of time was my work with the electronic health records application and IT support I provided for the office.

Two House Studios (THS) was formed in order to continue working for Insight Enterprises as a consultant after returning to Kansas from Phoenix, AZ. During this period, I collaborated in founding multiple startups and consulted for multiple agencies over 10 years on over 80 projects and even more sales presentations. I worked with firms across Kansas, Arizona, Kentucky, and Washington as well as on my own regional projects.

Digital Project Manager, eBusiness Group

My role as Digital Project Manager was to manage release updates to the primary Website, SprintPCS.com, and to act as a liaison between the eBusiness team and the IT & marketing teams. I was solely responsible for the optimization, and releases of the site for a period of three months. During this period, I facilitated the creation of an informal, cross-functional team in order to support the site. I successfully partnered with team members from departments when leadership was unable to do so due to conflicting objectives at executive levels.
